SyncToy

Recently, I was searching the net for a utility that would allow us to synchronize two folders between computers or on the network. There are lots of small and big application that will perform this small task, but one of Microsoft’s power toy, SyncToy turned out to be just I'm looking for.

Most common operations can be performed with just a few clicks of the mouse, and additional customization is available without additional complexity. SyncToy lets you automatically do the copying, moving, renaming and deleting between folders. Can manage multiple sets of directories at the same time. It can combine files from two folders in one case, and mimic renames and deletes in another case.

You can also combine this SyncToy to run in windows scheduler, and you'll be making automatic backups!

And besides all that, SyncToy v2.0 Beta is free to download.

System Requirements
Supported Operating Systems: Windows Vista; Windows XP
Microsoft .NET Framework v2.0
1GHz Intel P3 processor or equivalent
256MB RAM, 512MB RAM recommended
20MB free disk space
