Tips to increase Google PageRank

Good PR rangking means more visible for search engine and can get more visitors. PageRank is a numeric value which presents how important a page is on the web. A PR of 10 is the highest and a PR of 0 the lowest and if Google banned your site from their index then you won’t even have a PR.

Below are some tips which you can try to improve your PR:
1. Exchange links
It is necessary to exchange links to websites that have a better PageRank than our site. Even better if the contents are related or have the same idea to our current website.

2. Submit your site
Try to submit your link in all web directories. Some web directories require paying for it and some are free but needs more time and efforts.You can try Google Webmaster Central or Yahoo Site Explorer to build a sitemap for your website.

3. Update your content gradually
If you have a good quality of content or information for the visitors then it is more chance they come back to visit your site again.

4. Inside linking
Providing a link between your articles can also increase PageRank, because Google will see them as relevant and rank accordingly. Or you can try to revitalizing your old articles. For example by creating Top 10 of popular or favorite subjects.
